Cannon and Ball are one of Britain's funniest and most successful double acts. In a career spanning over 42 years they have achieved a string of honours that puts them amongst the all-time greats of Show Business.
They had their own series on television 'The Cannon and Ball Show' from 1980 to 1992. They also did their own television sit-com and guested on all major shows including Wogan,Parkinson,Des OConnor, Sunday Night at the London Palladium.They worked on several Royal Command Performances and also featured in a documentary about double acts, which included footage of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Laurel and Hardy and Morecambe and Wise.
To add to their pedigree their feature film 'Boys in Blue' was a huge success and went on to become a video best seller. In 1982 they played the Dominion Theatre in London's West End for a six-week season and, for the first time ever, every seat was sold out before the show opened. They have worked extensively in America and are one of the few British comedy acts to have played the 'Grand Ole Oprey', Nashville.

Their 1988 season at the London Palladium broke all box office records and created the largest box office takings in the history of the theatre.
Through the 90s Tommy and Bobby continued to tour and continued to break box office records. In 1985 Bobby found the Lord and became a committed Christian and Tommy was to follow him 7 years later when he too found the Lord's blessing. They are now both committed Christians and take four months a year out of their busy schedules to take a Gospel show on the road. The Gospel shows have become hugely popular and the boys will be making a Gospel album early next year.
Tommy lives in York with his wife Hazel. He has five children, Kelly, Zoe, Luke, Janette and Julie. They are a very close family and Tommy loves spending as much time with them all as possible
Bobby lives in Lytham St Annes with his wife Yvonne. He has three children, Robert, Darren and Joanne. He has 8 grandchildren and likes nothing more than to be spoiled by them all.
Tommy and Bobby are still working about 45 weeks a year and they say that they can't wait for the time when they have to walk on stage in zimmer frames.
